This vintage mid 20th century oak dressing chest features a rectangular top with an adjustable mirror mounted on a shaped back rail. The chest is fitted with two small drawers above three graduated full-width drawers, all with turned wooden knob handles. The oak has an attractive grain throughout, and the drawers are constructed with dovetail joints. The piece stands on simple shaped feet and offers useful storage while retaining a clean, practical design.
The chest is in great condition overall, with age-related wear consistent with use. There is some sun bleaching and variation in colour to the side panels, as shown in the photographs, along with light surface marks and minor signs of use.
