This is a beautiful oak bookcase with two lead glazed doors opening to reveal two shelves, providing three storage sections for books or decorative items. Above is a useful open shelf with a shaped gallery back, carved central motif and decorative beaded edging. The shaped sides extend down to form the feet, and the oak displays attractive grain with a rich dark colour throughout.

The bookcase is in excellent used condition overall, with minor surface marks and wear consistent with age and use. There is damage to the moulding near the key, along with some marking and wear to the interior shelves and base, particularly along the front edge of the bottom section, as shown in the photos.
