An Antique Victorian Mahogany Music Stand Shoe Cupboard ~Delivery Available~
This is an antique Victorian mahogany music stand or shoe cupboard, made in mahogany with a shaped gallery top and small mirror set beneath. The fall-front music compartment opens to reveal three green fabric-lined shelves labelled for violin, organ, and piano music, with a decorative fabric panel to the front. The lower section forms a shoe cupboard with an internal divider. The piece stands on shaped legs and retains brass handles, with a maker’s plaque for James Phillips & Sons Ltd., Union St. Bristol.
The cupboard is in great condition with minor marks and surface wear consistent with age and use. The interior fabric shelves show light wear, and the finish has small marks in places from normal use. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
