An Antique Victorian Inlaid Chest of Drawers ~Delivery Available~

This is a beautiful Victorian chest of three full-width drawers with decorative crossbanding and fine string inlay to the top and drawer fronts. The drawers have dovetail joints, decorative brass drop handles and central key escutcheons, all supported on shaped bracket feet with a shaped apron. The chest displays attractive grain and a warm colour throughout.

The chest is in used antique condition with surface marks, scratches, staining and wear consistent with age and use. There are chips and losses to sections of the veneer and edging, particularly beneath the top drawer on the right, along with wear around the feet. The top has several dark marks, and there are signs of historic woodworm to the sides, with no active woodworm present. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
