The piece features two drawers over a double-door cupboard, each door panel decorated with detailed carved scrollwork and central oval motifs. The drawers are fitted with brass handles, and the cupboard doors have a matching brass escutcheon and working lock. The cabinet stands on short block feet and has fluted details to the corners.

The sideboard shows typical signs of age and use, including small surface marks, light scratches, and areas of wear to the finish. The brass fittings have a gentle aged patina, and the interior shelving shows some scuffs from use. The drop handle has a piece missing making it smaller than intended.
