An Antique Victorian Flame Mahogany Bow Front Chest ~Delivery Available~

This is a beautiful Victorian flame mahogany bow front chest of four graduated drawers with decorative geometric detailing to either side of the drawer fronts. Each drawer has two metal drop handles and a central key escutcheon (two escutcheons missing), with the top drawer having different handles from those below. The chest has a shaped top and apron, all supported on splayed bracket feet, with attractive flame mahogany grain and a warm colour throughout.

The chest is in used antique condition with surface marks, scratches, dark staining and wear consistent with age and use. There are splits to the sides, chips and losses around the drawer edges, and visible patch repairs to sections of the front and top edging. The top also shows marks and wear to the finish. There are signs of historic woodworm to the sides, with no active woodworm present. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
