An Antique Victorian Early 19th Century Mahogany Bureau Desk ~Delivery Available

An antique Victorian early 19th century mahogany bureau desk. Constructed in mahogany, the bureau features a fall-front writing surface with a green felt inset, an arrangement of small drawers and pigeonholes to the interior, and four graduated drawers below. The piece stands on bracket feet and retains its brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons. The mahogany displays a pleasing grain and rich colour throughout.

The bureau is in great condition for its age, with marks, dents, and general wear consistent with age and use. There is a loss to the veneer on the front left side, and the interior fitted compartment is missing the far-left section of decorative moulding. The drawers run well, and the bureau remains structurally sound and functional. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
