This is an antique-style solid wood chest of drawers with a rectangular top and a moulded edge. The chest has a scroll fronted drawer above five standard drawers, each fitted with turned wooden knobs, and stands on shaped bracket feet. The sides are panelled, and the overall design matches a traditional pedestal style.

The piece shows wear consistent with age and use, including scratches, marks, and rubbing to the surfaces. There are small scuffs and dents to the edges and feet, and areas of finish wear on the top moulding, as shown in the photos. The drawer interiors show signs of use.
