This is an antique style twin pedestal desk with a red leather inset writing surface. The leather top is decorated with gilt tooling around the border. The desk is fitted with eight drawers in total, three along the top and five in the pedestals, all with brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons. The pedestals are raised on bracket feet, giving the desk a traditional and solid appearance.

The desk shows wear consistent with age and use, including scuffs, scratches, and fading to the wood. The red leather top has some wear, marks, and surface cracking. The overall structure remains sturdy, but the piece has general cosmetic wear throughout.
