The piece has two short drawers over two full-width drawers, with black metal swan neck handles, a moulded top, fluted front corner details, and a shaped plinth base. The drawers are dovetailed and the chest has a simple country house look.

This chest is in very good used condition, with light surface wear, gentle rubbing to the painted finish, and minor age-related marks in keeping with the distressed style.
