This is an antique style Oriental four-panel folding screen, constructed from carved wood with intricate pierced decoration throughout. Each panel is divided into multiple sections featuring detailed foliate and floral carvings, with decorative pierced cresting to the top of the outer panels. The screen folds easily on its original hinges and provides an attractive decorative room divider with craftsmanship visible on both sides.

The screen is in very good overall condition with minor marks and wear consistent with age and use. There is some bowing to the wood across the panels, though this does not affect the appearance, stability, or the folding function of the screen.
