An antique style writing desk or console table with a rectangular leather inset top and a mahogany finish. The table features two drawers to the front with brass swan neck handles, decorative veneered drawer fronts, and shaped cabriole legs. The proportions make it suitable for use as a writing table, side table or console table.

The table shows wear consistent with age and use, including dents, marks, scuffs and rubbing to the finish throughout. The leather writing surface has noticeable wear, staining and surface marks, and there is wear to the edges and mouldings. The drawers operate as intended.
