An Antique Style High Quality Maple & Co Burr Walnut Twin Pedestal Desk ~Deliver
A superb antique-style twin pedestal desk by Maple & Co, beautifully finished in richly figured burr walnut with contrasting crossbanding and traditional brass handles. The desk features a generous red leather inset writing surface with gilt tooled detailing, three drawers across the top and three further drawers to each pedestal, providing excellent practical storage. The highly figured burr walnut drawer fronts give the piece a particularly luxurious appearance, while the maker’s plaque to the drawer confirms the Maple & Co name.
The desk is in excellent overall condition and has clearly been well looked after, with only minor marks and wear consistent with age and use. The leather writing surface shows some light signs of use, adding character without detracting from the overall presentation. A high-quality and impressive desk with a classic traditional look, ideal for a home office, study or period interior.
