An Antique Pollard Oak Twin Pedestal Desk with Ebonised Detail ~Delivery Availab

Antique 19th Century Pollard oak twin pedestal desk with ebonised detailing and a rectangular top. The desk features eight graduated drawers arranged across two pedestals, with an additional central drawer above the kneehole. The pollard oak veneers display a distinctive grain pattern throughout, complemented by contrasting ebonised borders and decorative brass drop handles with matching escutcheons. The panelled sides and shaped kneehole add to the overall design. The desk is in very good overall condition, with wear and surface marks consistent with age and use. There are minor marks and small areas of wear to the top, edges, and drawer fronts, along with light wear to the brass hardware. The drawers open and close as expected, and the interior shows the expected signs of age and use. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
