An Antique Mid 20th Century Walnut Bureau Desk ~Delivery Available~

This is a walnut bureau with fall-front writing surface stands on shaped cabriole legs ending in carved claw feet. The sloping front opens to reveal a fitted interior with small pigeonholes and compartments above a writing surface. Below are three graduated drawers fitted with metal drop handles and keyholes. The top and fall-front display decorative walnut veneer with a central figured panel and crossbanded border.

The bureau is in good structural condition. There are dents, marks, and general wear to the wood consistent with age and use. Some minor chipping to the veneer is present, and there are small areas of finish loss visible on the drawer fronts and edges. The interior shows wear from use.
