This is a mid-20th century firescreen with a wooden frame and a floral tapestry panel. The frame is made from dark-stained wood and includes a shaped carrying handle at the top, along with turned finials at each corner. The base is supported by two shaped feet that give the screen a stable stance. The tapestry panel shows a detailed floral design in soft tones, set securely within the wooden frame.

The firescreen is in used condition with age-related wear. The tapestry shows some light fading and small marks. The wooden frame has scratches, scuffs, and areas of wear, particularly on the base and edges, and the back panel shows surface marks.
