This is an antique mid-20th century single chair constructed from oak, featuring a traditional ladder-back design with three shaped slats and a rush-woven seat. The chair stands on simple round front legs with pad feet and tapering rear legs that curve slightly outward. Cross stretchers provide structural support to the frame, maintaining the rustic style often seen in country-made furniture.

The chair shows clear signs of wear and use, with visible surface scratches and scuffing to the oak frame, particularly along the legs and slats. The rush seat remains intact.
