This is an antique mid-20th century bureau desk made from book-matched mahogany veneer. The piece features a sloping fall-front that opens to reveal a fitted interior with small compartments and a central drawer. Beneath the writing section are three full-width drawers, each fitted with brass circular handles. The bureau stands on elegant cabriole legs, giving it a refined and traditional appearance.

The bureau is in good used condition with some general wear consistent with age and use. There are light surface scratches, small veneer marks, and some wear to the leather writing surface.
