An Antique Mid 20th Century Blue Canvas Metal Bound Travel Steamer Trunk ~Delive

An antique mid-20th century blue canvas travel steamer trunk, with metal-bound edges, riveted construction and reinforced metal corner fittings. The trunk has a hinged lid, twin front catches, central lock fitting (lock mechanism removed) and side carrying handles. The exterior retains white stencilled lettering and address details from previous use. The interior has been lined with later applied patterned wallpaper.

The trunk is in good used condition, with scratches, marks, rubbing, tarnishing and general wear consistent with age and travel use. The stencilled lettering is worn in places, and the metal fittings show age-related wear and discolouration. The later applied wallpaper lining has started to peel and lift around the edges and sides. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
