An Antique Mahogany Victorian Linen Press Wardrobe ~Delivery Available~
Victorian mahogany linen press converted for use as a wardrobe. The piece is made in two sections, with a removable top cabinet for easier transport. The upper section has a pair of panelled doors with figured mahogany veneers and ebonised line inlay to the panels. Inside is fitted with a hanging rail for clothing. The lower section has two short drawers over two long drawers, all fitted with turned wooden knobs. The cabinet stands on turned feet with a moulded cornice to the top.
The wardrobe is in good overall condition with general age related wear. There is a section of trim missing from the bottom edge of the lowest drawer as shown in the photos. Minor marks and signs of use are present consistent with age. The top section lifts off the base for transport. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
