This is a great mahogany Victorian library bookcase cabinet with an upper glazed section and a lower enclosed cupboard. The top section has two glass doors with shaped frames and adjustable shelves inside. The lower section has two panelled wooden doors and two slim drawers above. Carved details appear at the upper corners, and the cabinet has a stepped cornice. The top section can be removed for transport.

The cabinet shows some age-related wear. The wood has scratches, dents, and areas of finish loss, especially on the edges and lower corners. The side panels show marks and small chips, and the shelves show wear. The drawers show general use. The base has notable wear and surface losses.
