An Antique Late 19th Century Tiger Oak Welsh Dresser Sideboard ~Delivery Availab
This late 19th century Welsh dresser sideboard is made from quarter sawn tiger oak and features a two-piece design with an upper plate rack and a lower sideboard base. The top section has open shelves, shaped decorative frieze detailing, and side cupboards fitted with brass hinges and working locks. The base section includes three drawers with brass drop handles above two cupboard compartments, all raised on cabriole front legs. The tiger oak grain is particularly striking throughout, giving the piece a distinctive appearance.
The dresser is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. It comes with keys for all of the locks. There are some ring marks and light surface wear to the top surface, as shown in the photographs, along with minor signs of age and use consistent with its period.
