An Antique Late 19th Century Early 20th Century Metal Steamer Trevel Trunk

A wonderfully characterful late 19th to early 20th century metal steamer trunk, finished in black with a contrasting painted interior and retaining its original style carrying handles, locking hardware and reinforced edges. The lid is marked “R.H.T. Lucas” and the interior bears a “The Coromandel” label, adding extra interest and period charm.

In good antique condition overall, with extensive surface wear, paint loss, scuffs, scratches and areas of corrosion consistent with age, travel and use. These signs of wear form part of its authentic appearance and are clearly shown in the photographs.
