An antique late 17th to early 18th century oak panelled coffer or blanket box with a hinged lift-up top and carved decoration across the front. The front is formed with four geometric recessed panels, with further carved detailing to the upper rail and vertical sections. The coffer stands on shaped feet and provides a large open storage compartment.

The coffer is in good antique condition, with signs of historic woodworm damage, areas of surface wear and extensive repairs carried out over time. The top opens as intended and the coffer is structurally sound. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
