An Antique Georgian Golden Oak Bureau Desk ~Delivery Available~

This is a golden oak bureau desk with a sloped fall-front writing surface, fitted with internal drawers and pigeonholes. The exterior features four graduated drawers, each with brass plate handles and escutcheons, set on shaped bracket feet. The wood has a rich, warm tone with visible grain and a smooth finish. Inside, there is a fitted interior including small drawers and letter compartments, along with a concealed sliding compartment beneath the lower drawers.

The piece in in excellent condition with minor signs of use consistent with age, including minor surface marks, light wear to the edges, and slight discolouration in places. The brass fittings have aged naturally, showing some tarnish. The internal structure remains intact, and the fall-front hinges operate well.
