This is an antique Edwardian mahogany bureau desk with a fall front writing surface, fitted interior pigeon holes, and three graduated drawers below. The bureau features brass drop handles, inlaid stringing detail, and shaped bracket style feet. The interior opens to reveal a polished writing area with multiple storage compartments for letters and stationery.
The bureau is in good condition overall for its age with marks, dents, scratches, and general wear throughout. There is visible age related wear to the writing flap and drawer fronts, along with some fading and surface marks consistent with long term use. The decorative trim to the front right foot is missing, as shown in the photos. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
