The walnut has a warm medium-brown tone with visible grain patterns, giving the piece a classic and practical appearance.

The chest shows noticeable signs of age and use. The top surface has ring marks, scratches, and areas of wear. The drawer fronts show old holes and marks from replaced handles, and there are small chips and scuffs along the edges. The drawers open and close, though with some wear to the runners.
