An early 20th century pine Davenport desk with a leather writing surface inset into the sloping top. The desk features a hinged lid opening to a storage compartment, four side drawers with turned wooden knobs, and turned front supports. The piece has a dark stained finish and stands on bun feet with panelled sides and back.

The desk is in good condition for its age, with some marks, dents and general wear consistent with use. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the base, which is inactive and has been treated.
