This antique early 20th century oak Welsh dresser sideboard is constructed in two sections, with a lower cupboard base and an open plate rack above. The upper section features a shaped gallery with two fixed shelves and a panelled back, suitable for displaying plates and decorative items. The base is fitted with two drawers above a pair of cupboard doors, all finished with brass drop handles and escutcheons. The oak displays attractive grain throughout and provides a good combination of display and storage space.

The dresser is in good condition overall, with age-related wear consistent with use. There is some splitting to the back panels and the cupboard doors caused by the timber shrinking over time, as shown in the photographs. The piece also has light surface marks, minor scratches, and general wear commensurate with age. The drawers and cupboard doors operate as intended, and the dresser remains solid and functional.
