The top corners of the frame are decorated with simple carved scroll motifs, and the cabinet stands on short bracket feet. The oak has a rich medium-brown finish that highlights the grain of the wood.

The bookcase shows expected signs of age and use, including some surface marks, scratches, and minor wear to the finish. The glass panels are intact, and the doors open and close smoothly.
