This is an antique early 20th century oak bureau desk with solid brass cat-shaped handles. The bureau has a sloping fall front that opens to reveal pigeonholes and small compartments for storage. Below are two full-width drawers, each fitted with distinctive brass handles, and the piece stands on turned legs with cross stretchers for support. The oak shows a rich, dark finish with visible grain.

The desk has age-related wear, including scratches, marks, and surface unevenness to the oak. The writing surface shows some wear from use, and the brass fittings have tarnish consistent with age.
