This is an early 20th-century mahogany washstand featuring a decorative marble top and a glazed wooden back panel having marquetry inlaid floral detailing. The upper section includes an arched design with further marquetry inlays, displaying intricate floral and ribbon motifs. Below the marble surface, the cabinet includes two doors with crossbanded inlays and brass drop handles, offering ample storage. The washstand is raised on slender tapered legs with castors for ease of movement.

The washstand is in good overall condition with some age-related wear. The marble top is intact but shows light surface marks. The woodwork has minor scratches and marks consistent with age and use. Despite these signs of use, the piece remains sturdy and retains its elegant appearance.
