An Antique Early 20th Century Mahogany Bureau Desk ~Delivery Available~

This is a beautiful antique early 20th century mahogany bureau desk with attractive figured veneers, fine inlaid borders and a decorative shaped central panel to the fall front. It stands on elegant cabriole legs with a shaped apron and has a raised gallery along the back of the top.

The fall front opens to provide a writing surface with a dark inset writing pad. Inside is an arrangement of pigeonholes, open compartments and a central stationery drawer. Below are two short drawers over one full-width drawer, with decorative metal drop handles.

The bureau is in good antique condition with marks, scratches, dents and wear consistent with age and use. There is a split near the bottom corner of the lid, as shown in the close-up photograph. The inset writing pad also shows wear and areas of surface loss. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
