This is an early 20th century wooden lift-up blanket box, suitable for use as a coffee table. The box has a rectangular shape with a panelled hinged top and a single front handle for moving. It stands on small castors, allowing it to be moved easily. The interior provides a large open storage compartment. 

The piece is in used condition with visible wear from age. The top surface has scratches, marks, and areas of uneven colour. The edges and corners show scuffs, and the castors display general wear.
