This is an early 20th-century Arts and Crafts oak bureau bookcase with leaded glass doors to the upper section. The top cupboard has two glazed doors with decorative glass panels and a single interior shelf. The lower section features a fall-front writing surface, an internal set of pigeonholes, a single drawer with metal handles, and two open shelves at the base.
The piece is in great condition, with wear consistent with age and use, including surface marks, scratches, and rubbing to edges and corners. The interior surfaces show age-related wear, and the handles and fittings display tarnishing. The open shelves show signs of use and marking.
