An Antique Early 19th Century Oak Gate Leg Dining Table ~Delivery Available~

This is a beautiful early 19th century solid oak gate leg dining table with two drop leaves forming an oval top when fully opened. The leaves are supported by swing-out gate legs, with turned supports and rectangular stretchers beneath. Both leaves fold down to give a compact size when not in use. The oak displays attractive grain and a rich dark colour, with plenty of character throughout.

The table is in used antique condition with surface marks, scratches, dark staining and considerable wear to the finish consistent with age and use. There are knocks and chips around the edges, with further wear and some losses to the timber around the legs and stretchers. There are signs of historic woodworm to parts of the frame, with no active woodworm present. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
