An Antique Early 19th Century Mahogany Regency Style Pembroke Table ~Delivery Av

A handsome early 19th century mahogany Pembroke table in the Regency style, featuring twin drop leaves, a useful single frieze drawer with turned wooden knobs and a central turned pedestal support. The base is raised on four elegant swept legs terminating in decorative brass lion-paw caps and castors, giving the table a particularly refined period appearance.

The table is in good antique condition overall, with minor marks, knocks and dents consistent with age and use. The mahogany has developed a rich, warm colour and attractive patina, with the drop-leaf mechanism, drawer and base all presenting well.
