An Antique Arts and Crafts Solid Golden Oak Bureau Bookcase Desk ~Delivery Avail

A substantial Arts & Crafts solid golden oak bureau bookcase desk, combining display, storage and writing functions in one impressive piece. The upper section features four glazed doors with decorative geometric astragal detailing and fitted interior shelves, while the lower section incorporates a fall-front writing bureau with fitted pigeonholes, three drawers and additional cupboards and storage compartments. The piece is finished with decorative metal handles and has a lovely warm golden oak colour with attractive grain throughout.

It is in excellent antique condition overall and has clearly been well maintained over the years, with only minor marks consistent with age and use. The lower right handle has been replaced with a similar style handle, as shown in the photographs.
