A handsome Victorian mahogany tilt-top breakfast table dating from the 19th century, featuring an oval top raised on a central turned column with four sweeping legs terminating in decorative brass paw feet and castors. The tilt mechanism allows the top to be raised vertically when not in use, making it a particularly attractive and practical period piece.

The table is in great overall antique condition, with marks and wear consistent with age and use. There is some sun bleaching to the mahogany and a shrinkage split to the top as shown in the photographs; this does not affect the structure or stability of the table.
