An Antique 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Bureau Desk ~Delivery Available~

A handsome 19th century Victorian mahogany bureau desk, featuring four graduated long drawers beneath a fitted writing interior with an arrangement of small drawers, pigeonholes and open compartments. The mahogany has a warm, rich colour with attractive figuring to the drawer fronts, complemented by brass escutcheons and decorative ring handles.

The bureau is in good overall antique condition with marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use. There are some veneer losses around the feet as shown, the original folding writing lid is missing, and the two handles on the top drawer have been replaced. The remaining drawers open and close as intended, and the fitted upper section provides useful storage and plenty of period character.
