An Antique 19th Century Mahogany Converted Box Piano Sideboard ~Delivery Availab

An unusual 19th century mahogany sideboard, originally constructed as a box piano and later sympathetically converted for use as a sideboard or console table. It retains its attractive period proportions, tapered legs with brass castors, decorative line inlay and three useful drawers across the front, giving it plenty of character and making it a distinctive piece for a hallway, dining room or living space.

The sideboard is in good antique condition overall, with various marks, staining, age-related wear and some historic repairs visible across the top and elsewhere, all consistent with its age and previous use. These areas have been shown clearly in the photographs and form part of the piece’s character and history.
