An Antique 19th Century French Elm Double Bed Frame ~Delivery Available~

A beautiful Antique 19th Century French Elm Double Bed Frame, featuring stunning natural grain patterns and richly figured elm panels throughout. The bed has an elegant French design with decorative carved floral detailing, turned posts, finial tops and an ornate shaped headboard. The warm golden-brown tones of the elm highlight the distinctive swirling grain, giving the piece plenty of character and charm.

The bed is in great antique condition and has been well looked after, with minor marks, dents and general signs of wear consistent with its age and use. There are a few very minor areas of historic woodworm, which show no apparent signs of recent activity and have been filled. A beautiful and substantial antique bed frame that retains its original character while being perfectly suited to a modern bedroom.
