An Antique 18th Century Oak Coffer Blanket Box ~Delivery Available~

This is an antique oak coffer, likely from the 18th century, constructed with a panelled front and sides. The front features three vertical panels below a carved frieze with scrollwork detail. The top is hinged and opens to reveal a spacious interior suitable for storage. The coffer stands on block feet and includes a metal lock plate (no lock) on the front. The oak has a dark, aged patina with visible grain throughout.

The coffer shows clear signs of age and wear, including surface scuffs, scratches, and a split to the top. The lock plate shows rust and the metal has darkened. There is general wear to the base and feet, with marks and minor losses to the wood. The interior is worn but remains usable. There is some antique worm damage but is not active. Please review the photos for a full assessment of the condition.
