An Antique Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Sideboard Buffet ~Delivery Available
This Victorian twin pedestal sideboard is made from mahogany with a deep polished finish that highlights the grain. It features a shaped and carved back with a central shell detail and scroll decoration, set above a mirrored panel. The base has two pedestals with panelled doors and carved fan motifs, joined by a central section with one long drawer flanked by two shorter drawers. The sideboard stands on plinth bases, and the top section can be removed from the pedestals for ease of transport.
The sideboard is in great condition overall. There is a crack to the wood to the left of the mirror, as shown in the photos, though this does not affect the structure. There is also minor pitting and light surface wear consistent with age and use. The drawers and cupboard doors open and close properly.
