This is an antique Victorian burr walnut washstand with a marble top. The piece features a richly figured walnut veneer, decorative carved panels on the cupboard doors, and ornate brass handles. The washstand includes two lower drawers, two side cupboards, and an open central compartment, providing ample storage. The marble top adds elegance and functionality to the design, complementing the warm tones of the walnut.
 
The washstand is in good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The marble top has light surface marks and minor edge wear, with a small chip to the front left corner, and a repair to the back right (see pictures). The drawers and cupboards function well, and the piece retains its original castors.
