This antique-style burr walnut bureau desk showcases a beautifully figured veneer and a rich, polished finish. The drop-down writing surface opens to reveal a well-organised interior, featuring pigeonholes and small drawers for storage. Below, the bureau is fitted with four spacious drawers adorned with brass handles, all supported by bracket feet, making it a functional and stylish piece.
The desk is in good overall condition but does show signs of use and age. The surface has some minor scratches, marks, and slight wear along the edges of the drop down desk (see pictures). The writing flap opens and closes smoothly. The interior is clean, and the drawers operate properly. Please examine the photographs for further details on its condition. The key locks the bureau but once locked the key cant me removed, its to be used more as a handle.
