The frames are constructed from dark-stained oak, with turned stretchers reinforcing the legs for added durability.
 
The chairs show signs of wear consistent with age and use. The rush seats are intact but display some fraying and areas of wear. The oak frames have surface marks, scuffs, and occasional minor chips, with some evidence of antique worm filled over the years and not active.
