This antique mid-20th-century serpentine desk is constructed from burr walnut, showcasing a rich, decorative grain throughout. The elegant serpentine front and curved edges are complemented by a central drawer and two pedestal drawers, each featuring ornate brass handles. The piece stands on slender cabriole legs, adding a touch of sophistication to its design, making it suitable as a writing desk or dressing table.
 
The desk is in good condition, with visible signs of use and wear consistent with age. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the surface and edges, with some small chips to the finish on the lower edges. There would have once been a mirrored top section leaving three small holes across the top, the top surface has also been refinished. Overall, this is a charming piece with character, perfect for a vintage-inspired setting.
