An Antique Late Victorian Aesthetic Movement Walnut Dresser Drawing Room Cabinet

An Antique Late Victorian Aesthetic Movement Walnut Dresser Drawing Room Cabinet

This 19th Century late Victorian Aesthetic Movement solid walnut dresser, crafted by J.R. Cross, features a sophisticated design. The piece is highlighted by a large bevel glass mirrored back section, which sits above a break front central drawer. This drawer is succeeded by an open space, which is then followed by two small doors, creating a harmonious blend of display and storage options. Additionally, the structure is symmetrically flanked by a drawer over a larger cupboard door on each side, providing ample storage space.

The dresser has been preserved in great condition, showing that it has been well cared for. Minor marks are present, which are consistent with the dresser's age and use, yet these do not detract from the overall beauty or functionality of the piece. For convenience in transportation, the top section of the dresser can be removed. This dresser is a prime example of the craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibilities of the late Victorian Aesthetic Movement, offering a timeless appeal and practicality for modern-day use.
