This is a mahogany dressing chest of drawers featuring a shaped mirror mounted on a wooden backboard. The chest has a two-over-one drawer configuration, with two smaller drawers above a larger central drawer. Each drawer is fitted with ornate brass handles, and the piece stands on slender legs, two of which have small castors.

The dressing chest shows signs of age and use, with some surface wear, scratches, and marks on the wood. The mirror has areas of foxing and minor edge wear. The drawers open smoothly.
